This is the second post I will be making to my Japanese Tsuba blog.

I thought that you would like to see a really fine and incredibly beautiful Japanese Kinko Tsuba.

This is a very fine and rare Soten Tsuba from my collection.

Let me explain what makes it fine–really poor quality Soten Tsuba have very little detail, very poorly made faces. I hate to say it but the faces are very simple with very little detail and look more animal like than human. There would be very little detail to the armor or the samurai or the battles or the buildings.

This Soten Tsuba has magnificent details–

just take a look at the details on the Samurai Armor, the faces, their weapons, the Japanese buildings that you can see all around them etc.–it is truly amazing. It is truly amazing that the Japanese artist made this wonderful Tsuba could fit this much action and activity in realistic detail into an area under 10 cm across.

I invite you to use my expertise in creating your own collection of Japanese art and antiques, because, as you can clearly see, I do have tremendous expertise.
Take a look at my gallery pages and you will see my previous galleries and exhibitions in the Ginza of Tokyo Japan, from the years 1980 up to 2010.
During that time I would usually exhibit about 300 Japanese swords out of the 500 Samurai Swords that I had in stock. I would also exhibit about 400 to 600 Japanese sword guards as well as other fittings such as Kozuka, Menuki, and Fuchi Kashira.
You can also check out my offerings at my websites, for example www.Japanese–Tsuba.com or www.Japanese–samurai.com etc. I will list all of these with links later date but suffice it to say there are dozens as I have created individual sites for many “categories” of Japanese art such as Japanese Samurai Swords, Japanese Samurai Armor, Daimyo swords Tachi, and Tsuba, sword mounts, sword fittings, Japanese woodblock prints, Buddhist art, etc.

Japanese–Tsuba.com や www.
